He first gained popularity on TikTok for his videos about trainspotting and trains.

Francis Borgeois is a trainspotter and social media personality.
He rose to fame during the pandemic after he started creating and uploading videos about trains on his social media accounts.
Francis has ranked 2.1 million followers on TikTok and further 1.2 million followers on Instagram.
Furthermore, he appeared on the ITV morning show This Morning and was recently spotted trainspotting with Joe Jonas.
Francis becomes face of Gucci x The North Face
Fast forward to January 2022, Francis has landed the opportunity of his career after becoming the new face of a Gucci x The North Face commercial.
The social media star took part in a campaign between the two fashion brands which sees him take the role of a train conductor.
The ad was posted by Highsnobiety on Instagram, followed by the caption: “It’s full steam ahead for @gucci and @thenorthface as they take their second collaboration to the tracks with TikTok star and trainspotter @francis_bourgeois43.
“With the bold collection focusing on exploration and outdoor activities, there’s no one better than Bourgeois to bring it all to life.”

Francis’ early life and education explored
Francis is a Mechanical Engineering student at Nottingham University.
But his passion for trains and trainspotting dates back to his childhood when he developed a keen interest in the topic.
In a previous video, he explained that his favorite activity after school was playing with railway models. However, he revealed that he had experienced feelings of loneliness at the time and decided to leave his hobby to fit among his peers.
He reclaimed his love for trains when the UK went into lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic and started creating videos on TikTok and Instagram.
